Pride Is Also About Having Somewhere Safe to Call Home!

The Global Guardians team proudly joined the Pride in London Parade alongside the British Security Industry Association (BSIA) and The UK Security Commonwealth. It was an inspiring celebration of visibility, inclusion, and the freedom to be yourself.

While Pride is a vibrant celebration, it is also a reminder that many LGBTQ+ people continue to face barriers, including access to safe and secure housing. Research shows that LGBTQ+ individuals, particularly transgender people and young people, are disproportionately affected by housing discrimination and homelessness, highlighting the importance of creating inclusive housing opportunities.

At Global Guardians we believe everyone deserves to feel safe, respected, and valued. Every day, we work to protect vacant properties while providing affordable living spaces for working professionals. Although property guardianship is not a solution to LGBTQ+ homelessness, we recognise the important role that inclusive housing can play in helping people feel secure and supported.

Our commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion shapes everything we do. We strive to ensure that every guardian is welcomed with fairness, dignity, and respect, regardless of their background or identity.

Pride is about more than one weekend of celebration. It is about creating communities where everyone has the opportunity to belong, feel safe, and thrive.
