Social housing stigma remains one of the most deeply rooted challenges in the UK. In the years since the Grenfell tragedy, tenants across the country have voiced a shared feeling: that they are too often treated as second-class citizens. A recent report by the G15 group found that nearly half of social housing tenants felt stigmatised and of those, many pointed to the actions of their own landlords as the cause.
